We recognize that access to proper sanitation and hygiene is not just a basic need it is a human right and a foundation for quality education, equality, and well-being. By addressing sanitation challenges in schools, we empower children especially girls to learn in a safe, clean, and dignified environment, free from the health and social barriers caused by poor sanitation.


Guided by our vision to create a future where every child learns in a safe, clean, and dignified school environment we strive to ensure that every learner benefits from sustainable sanitation and hygiene systems that foster health, equality, and academic success. Our Objectives

Achieve Stakeholders Access to Service

SAFA ensures that its stakeholders have equitable access to water, hygiene systems and sanitation services and resources like clean water, toilets and sanitizer materials.

Improve Public Health and Awareness

Ensuring that there is reduced spread of sanitation-related diseases through advocating activities and awareness programs to our SAFA stakeholders and their communities like, hygiene education, clean water access, and proper waste management practices, and thorough development of innovative and sustainable sanitation technologies that meet community needs and ensuring that cases in public health are recorded

Evaluation,Monitoring and Accountability

Ensuring that clear performance indicators are implemented, and that routine field visits are conducted as regular monitoring systems. Ensuring that independent evaluations are conducted to measure health, environmental, and social outcomes of sanitation programs, and also open reporting mechanisms are created to allow our stakeholders (communities, donors, and partners) to access progress reports and financial records.
